Westminster – Chief Petty Officer USN (Ret.) William “Bill” Major Burton, 80, husband of Barbara Jean Wood Burton, 110 Grant Road, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Monday, March 2, 2015 from the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm, Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Sandifer Funeral Home. The family is at the home of Len Smith, 110 Grant Road, Westminster, SC 29693.
